To accommodate the 2021 CRF 450R’s updated air box design, FWF designed this filter with a flat panel design to create a more secure seal and stronger structure for the filter to further ensure no dust can penetrate the airbox.
The Flat Panel Design:
- Compact design allows more volume in the air box
- Any dust is distributed evenly over the pyramid profile outer foam surface
- Dual foam layer construction provides additional protection without sacrificing air flow
- The filter is easier to clean, re-oil and install effectively reducing the frequency of filter changes
The Foam Profile:
- Provides a 100% larger surface to trap more dust
- Traps dust evenly over the increased outside surface area while allowing optimum airflow for longer periods of riding
- Effectively reduces the frequency of filter changes and cleanings.
Die Cut Foam Only SealImpenetrable, robust foam enables a tight fit and guarantees no dirt or debris enters the airbox.The robustness of the seal also reduces the chance of shrinking, stretching, and tearing to allow for optimal fit over its lifetime.
