Lusty Industries is an action sports distributor for Australia. We are a youthful and energetic team with a history of success competing in action sports. Our people bring together decades of experience across sales, distribution and the action sports industries.

Our History

Lusty Industries started from humble beginnings and has continued to evolve through a combination of hard work, strong relationships, great brands and a genuine passion for the industries we operate in.
2003

Where It All Began

Lusty Industries was started by Johnny Mclean in 2003. What began with a brand called Racer X was initially operated from a spare room at home, laying the foundations for what would become Lusty Industries.

2005

Growing Beyond The Spare Room

In 2005 the company began distributing OGIO. As the business continued to grow, the spare room was no longer enough and Lusty moved into a friend's garage.

2006

First Warehouse

Demand continued to increase and in 2006 Lusty Industries moved into its first dedicated warehouse, not far from where the business originally began.

2011

Bigger Opportunities

By 2011 Lusty had outgrown the smaller warehouse and relocated to a much larger premises at the end of the M2 Freeway at Beresfield. During this period the company continued adding brands including Von Zipper, Ethika, Deft and ARC.

2014

Troy Lee Designs

Lusty was appointed the exclusive Australian distributor for Troy Lee Designs along with multiple other brands. Continued growth meant another move was required, with the business relocating to the heart of Newcastle in mid-2014.

2015

Expanding The Portfolio

Based in Wickham, just metres from Newcastle Harbour and the main CBD, Lusty continued to grow with the addition of brands including Santa Cruz Bicycles and the bicycle lineup of Maxima Racing Oils.

Today

Still pushing
forward.

Today Lusty Industries continues to grow from its Newcastle base, bringing some of the industry's most premium brands to Australia while providing dealers and partners with industry leading support.
