Geran Stapleton (Raceline Pirelli Suzuki) made a flying return to his 2014 campaign at Wonthaggi round of the Mx Nationals. The likable young talent had spectators on their feet as he lead 39 hard charging competitors for almost the entire Moto before a small tip over on the final lap. Stapleton finished a hard fought battle with a respected third (3rd) place in Moto one (1).

Ryan Marmont (Raceline Pirelli Suzuki) had a weekend to forget at round three (3) of the Mx Nationals in Wonthaggi, Victoria. Marmont showcased fantastic speed during qualification but results didn’t show.

MOTO | BRENDEN HARRISON CONTINUES THE HUNT

Brenden Harrison (Instant Security KTM) has had a weekend filled with mixed emotions at round three (3) of the Mx Nationals in Wonthaggi, Victoria. Consistent 6 – 6 finishes in both Moto’s sore Harrison finish strongly in the top 10. 

Brenden Harrison MX2 – 6th Overall:

“My weekend was up and down.” Said Harrison “I feel like I had one of my best races in the final Moto but my result just didn’t show for it. I HAVE to get my starts sorted; I believe too win this year you have to start up the front. I’m feeling and looking the best out there (My Seven MX gear is so sick).”

Harrison supported the all-new 2014 Seven MX 14.1 gear during the weekend’s events and looked sharp and on point. You can see the entire range of Seven MX products below:

BICYCLE | MUDD SHINES IN DEBUT AT UCI WORLD CUP – CAIRNS

Graeme Mudd (Lusty Industries Gravity MTB team) has completed a somewhat dream weekend at his debut showing in the UCI World Cup in Cairns, Queensland. With monsoonal like conditions on hand it created one of the toughest tracks competitors would see all year.

“Top thirty (30) was my goal at the Cairns World Cup.” Said Mudd. “I couldn’t be happier with how the weekend went, tough conditions created a slippery track for everyone competing. I cannot thank everyone enough who helped make it happen.”

Lusty Industries and Distributors couldn’t be happier with the outstanding efforts of Troy Lee Designs motorsport brand ambassador Chaz Mostert (Pepsi Max FPR Ford) as he podiums twice in New Zealand round of the V8 Supercar Championships.

“I started the event a little off the pace but we’ve adapted my Pepsi Max Ford all weekend and while we weren’t quite on Mark’s pace, we definitely were good enough for the podium battle. I am not looking at our points but we’ve had a great weekend and I am relieved to have some results that show the potential of what we can do. I’ve doubled my podium tally this weekend so it’s been great.”

MOTORSPORT | STRONG FINISH IN NEW ZEALAND FOR WILL DAVISON

A strong run from midfield to seventh (7TH) capped off a weekend of mixed fortunes for Will Davison (Erebus Motorsport) in the latest round of the 2014 V8 Supercar Championship at Pukekohe, New Zealand.

“That was a great end to our weekend,” a pleased Davison said as he stepped from his Erebus Mercedes Benz after Sundays final 200km race.

“We hadn’t qualified well so we knew we had to try something, and Luke (Mason Will’s engineer) put together a great strategy, and I just drove my heart out. We stayed on it all the way and its a great reward for everyone at Erebus, we are making progress all the time.”

ENDURANCE | COURTNEY ATKINSON WINS THE AUSTRALIAN XTERRA

Courtney Atkinson (Red Bull, Oakley Australia, Qantas) has taking out the Australian XTERRA Championship in Jarvis Bay over the weekend.

“The event reminded me how awesome it is to race off-road.” SaidAtkinson. “There is never a dull moment with adrenaline sky high. Nice work to all those who got out there, need to convert some more core triathletes to find their adventure.”
