Newcastle, NSW DECEMBER 11TH, 2013 - Lusty Industries and Distributors attended the Cannonball MTB Festival at beautiful Thredbo MTB Park over the weekend. Snow filled mountains would be the host for the stand out event for 2013. Thee (3) days, four (4) events would generate standout riding from some of the biggest names in Australian Bicycling.
Graeme Mudd (Orange Bikes Gravity MTB Team) topped off his weekend with a second (2nd) overall in the flow event, following up with a seventh (7th) place finish in the Downhill event.
“The downhill event was stacked with some big names like Mick Hannah, Troy Brosnan and Jack Moir,” said Mudd. “To finish where I did is a great achievement for me, the Downhill was almost six (6) minutes long so it’s quiet hard to link a solid run together. All in all I had fun a fun weekend and to me, that’s the main thing.”
Rick Boyer (Orange Bikes Gravity MTB Team) finished the weekend in a hard charging thirteenth (13th) place overall in the Downhill event.
“The Cannonball MTB Festival was nothing but positive for the Gravity MTB Team,” said Boyer. We are featuring an all-new look for the team with the new distribution of Troy Lee Designs, the presence both on and off the track was a highlight for me.”
With a positive weekend behind both athletes, it’s given Mudd and Boyer a great lead up to the season of 2014.
