AUSTRALIAN DOWNHILL MTN NATIONAL SERIES | MT BULLER

Lusty Industries and Distributors athletes Graeme Mudd and Rick Boyer both attended Round 2 of the Australian Downhill MTN National Series at Mt Buller, VIC.
Graeme Mudd (Team Lusty/Gravity MTB/Orange Bikes) finished the weekend on the podium with an outstanding effort of 5th (fifth) outright with a time of: 3:25.33 Mudd finished 6.78 seconds behind winner and fellow Troy Lee Designs athlete Troy Brosnan (Specialized Racing).

Rick Boyer (Team Lusty/Gravity MTB/Orange Bikes) finished the weekend in a hard charging fifteenth (15th) place overall in the Downhill event.

ROLLERCOASTER GRAVITY ENDURO, NSW
With the two fastest race runs of the day Brad Kelly (Lusty/Troy Lee Designs,Drift Bikes) from Watanobbi, took out the overall and Elite Male wins at the Rollercoaster Gravity Enduro NSW state round/Powered by Flow Mountain bike and Ourimbah MTB Park.
“The tracks both had quite a few sections to pedal it them and it was pretty hot as well, so a good challenge”, said Brad Kelly who handled the conditions on his home track well and who was awarded the 2014 series leader jersey.
A POSITIVE START FOR THE POSITIVE TOBY PRICE
Lusty Industries athlete Toby Price (KTM Enduro Racing) season kicked off his season with a positive start as the opening round of the KTM Enduro-X series took place at Brisbane’s Archerfield Speedway, Price took out 3rd (third) place overall behind race winner Chris Hollis (CDR Yamaha) and Daniel Milner (CDR Yamaha)
“That was a bit rough. I was feeling good all day and my lap times were good, I just came to the three heats and my starts really let me down”, said Price. “It’s a bit of a bummer, I’m a little bit disappointed but hey, it’s my first ride back. We’ll go home and get some starts dialled – we need to get a KTM up on the top of the podium. It’s not too far away – we’ll get it.”
